Epithalon Dosage Chart & Schedule

A synthetic tetrapeptide derived from the pineal peptide epithalamin, studied in longevity research — notably for reported effects on telomerase activity in cell and animal models.

The short answer

Research-community references commonly cite about 5-10 mg per day given as a short course of roughly 10-20 days, repeated only once or twice a year rather than taken continuously.

Figures describe how Epithalon is reported in the research literature and research-community references — not a recommendation for human use. For laboratory research only.

Cycled by design

  • References describe short courses of about 10-20 days repeated only once or twice a year, not daily long-term use.
  • Longevity research associates it with induction of telomerase and modulation of melatonin and circadian signaling; human clinical evidence is limited.

Epithalon reconstitution

50 mg vial + 2 mL bacteriostatic water = 25,000 mcg/mL (25 mg/mL) — the common mix; 1 unit ≈ 0.25 mg.

From vial to injection in 6 steps

1

Wipe both vial tops

Swab the peptide vial and the bacteriostatic-water vial with fresh alcohol and let them dry.

2

Draw the water

Pull the planned amount of bacteriostatic water (2 mL) into the syringe.

3

Add it slowly

Run the water down the inside wall of the vial — don't blast the powder. Swirl gently; never shake.

4

Let it dissolve

Wait until the solution is fully clear, then refrigerate the vial.

5

Draw your dose

Pull the calculated units on a U-100 insulin syringe (~20 units for 5 mg).

6

Store between uses

Keep the reconstituted vial refrigerated and use within its stable window.

Handling & storage

  • A 50 mg vial + 2 mL bacteriostatic water = 25 mg/mL, so 5 mg draws to about 20 units and 10 mg to about 40 units on a U-100 syringe.
  • One reconstituted vial covers a short course; refrigerate and use within a limited window.
  • Keep the lyophilized powder cool and dark before mixing.

Epithalon dosing FAQ

How long is an Epithalon course?

References commonly describe a short course of about 10-20 days at roughly 5-10 mg per day, repeated only once or twice per year rather than taken continuously.

Once daily or split?

It is usually referenced as a single daily injection during the course; its short half-life is why dosing is concentrated into brief cycles.

What draws up on a syringe?

From a 50 mg vial in 2 mL (25 mg/mL): 5 mg = about 20 units and 10 mg = about 40 units on a U-100 insulin syringe.
